Follow the Sun

When I was a young boy,my dad once told me, "follow the sun, and you will be happy forever." "But I don't like to smile, I don't want to be happy." I complained. Yes,it's true. I don't like to smile, I always have a grumpy face. At that time, in school, I have no friends, I always play with myself, and sometimes bully others,then I will laugh at them. But days passed, I recongnize that no one ever wants to speak to me except my dad. Only if I speak to my dad, I will smile those times were always the most wonderful time of my life. But sadlly, my dad died when I was ten. I lost all the happiness in my life.

Now I am a strong but still grumpy man. When I have sad times, I always remember dad's words: Follow the sun, and you will be happy forever.

One day, I cried because I miss my dad a lot. I cried all day. That is when I decided to really go climb a mountain, to follow the sun. I have to climb to the top before sunrises, otherwise, I wil miss it! I thought to myself. I run as fast as I can. I can see the sunshine rising slowly. I quickly run up  to the highest hill I have seen. I was sweating a lot, but I didn't give up, I continued. Follow the sun ,and you will be happy forever. My dad's words came to my mind. I climb up to the top, I made it! I saw the sun, so beautiful, it is like I saw my dad. You made it. I heard my dad saying it in my mind. I smiled, I grined, the first time without dad by me. "Follow the sun," I whispered to myself, "and you will be happy forever.
